Picking up new 2012 JGC
Well, my wife and I just had our 2nd child and it was time to get into a bigger vehicle/truck. I am currently driving a 2010 VW CC (6 speed stick) which is being leased. With 2 car seats, it was becoming very cramped, although its a great car. I managed to stop by my local dealership to see what kind of deals they had and see what they can offer me on my trade in. I never really considered the JGC until I went into the dealership and test drove it. I always had my eye on the Honda Pilot. Anyway, after test driving it and learning that it was built on the ML chasis, I quickly fell in love with the truck. It drove absolutely smooth and the interior was very refined. This is my first American car, as I've always driven Audi's, VW's and MB's.
Anyhow, after going back and forth, the deal didnt see that good, but after 3 days the salesman called me and told me they would meet me where I wanted to be. Basically, they're taking me out my 2010 VW lease and offering $500 positive equity (car has low miles) and putting me into a 2012 JGC Laredo 4x4 with E Group Package, Convenience (Bluetooth, Push Button Start), Single Pane Moonroof and Mopar Chrome Running Boards for $350 a month (tax included) with only first month and DMV due at signing. This is on a 36 month, 12K per year lease. I have decided that this was a pretty good deal, considering the truck's MSRP is close to $35K. I've decided to go with Stone White with Black Interior. Im siked about picking it up this weekend.
Wanted to check with you guys to see how I did on this deal, and what I should expect at the dealership when I go pick it up? Im sure they're going to try and offer me add-on's at signing like paying up front for service like oil changes, which I will decline. lol
Im siked to be a potentially new Jeep owner and wanted to say hi to everyone.
