My build is on its way again!
Hey guys. its been awhile since i have really been on here so i feel like a new guy again. i have been looking threw alot of threads the last couple of days to try and get the rest of my build plan put together. i have seen alot of good new ideas. there are alot of really good looking wk's on here. Anyways to the build.

  • Maxxis Bighorn M/T's 285/70/17 33's

This is where i am at, at the moment.

the big things that i want to address though are the suspension and just cleaning up a few other little items.

I just wanted a little help on the suspension from you guys. as you can see from the build sheet. i have the 2" RC lift and the 33" m/t's.

i want to add the old man emu springs but cant decide between the MD and HD. i want it to be good off road but also better than the stock suspension on the road. i will be adding a little weight to the vehicle with front bull bar and lights, roof rack w/ lights and spare tire.

so this is what i was thinking on the suspension and was looking for any tips from you guys.

Old Man Emu Springs MD or HD?

Shocks: (All ready ordered these last night should be here in a couple days)

Bilstein HD's Shocks and Struts
front p/n 24-186797
rear p/n 24-186803

Other Components:

Rusty's Strut Plates
was thinking (2) on each side

Rustys adjustable trac bar rear

JKS quick disconnects in front

Longer sway bar links in the rear not sure which ones. open to opinions

Than also still not sure on the UCA's or LCA's looks like alot of people like the JBA's but open to opinions.

Again any help you guys can give me is great i want to get on this lift right away and cant wait for the bilsteins to get here soon. and i will toss a few pictures up here later tonight when i get off work.

Whew, that's a long post!!! Haha, looks like you have quite a bit accomplished.
Springs- if you are only adding a Westin style brush guard and not an ARB bumper or anything I'd say the MD springs will be just fine.
Quick discos- JKS doesn't make specifically for the WK, but you can get an adjustable set for the JK that will work. JBA makes a top notch set (from what I've heard) specifically for the WK.
Control Arms- definitely get front UCAs from JBA. Nothing else is on the market, but you can have Rustys custom make some adjustable UCAs and LCAs for the rear for around $200/pr.
Strut plates- keep in mind that the strut spacers lift double the amount of their thickness! 1/4"=1/2" of lift.

Post up some pics!!!
