4.7 HO engine vs heads rebuild recommendations?

HI Folks:

Having stepped through a lot of alternate ideas, I am down to having to decide between a total re-build on a 170K mile 4.7 HO engine versus the cost of just having the heads done.

Engine has a history of two overheating events.

I need to make a decision based on the $$.

Does anyone have any opinions concerning places to have the engine re-built and have the heads faced and re-manufactured?

I live in N Georgia, and can deliver the truck or the engine as necessary if it is within a few hundred miles.

Thanks in advance.

So, to close out this thread, I was able to purchase a partially re-built 4.7 HO long block from a Dodge Dakota (16 tooth, of course) with 58,000 miles for $1600 US. This engine includes refacing and re-mounting heads. Basically, about $900 more than re-built heads alone, which were very difficult to find.
