Wrong forum buddy :P

Try that just in the general or engine performance section. This is audio like stereo system etc...

Sounds pretty good tho

Just did mine. FYI pics in the haynes manuel are NOT of a 5.7 hemi, well not a jeep one anyway. Things in the pics they had were backwards n pointed in wrong directions.

I have the pump out, just looking for things to watch out for...I got it out so sliding it in and bolting it back up shouldn't be a problem.

If you didnt already, get either a new t-stat or at least an o ring for it. My stat is only a few months old,and the o ring wouldnt reseal.

Re: Guys does this sound ok?

I got a new tstat, was just making sure i basically got it if i already got the pump out, as far as clearance and remounting the idler pulley then bolting on the tension pulley. rebuild front end and put hoses on and fill with fluid and start with cap off? let air burp? i did not "flush" the system. just took pump off and hoses and drained radiator and took off fluid resivoir and drained it do i just pour water into the new water pump?

Re: Guys does this sound ok?

Start with cap off and top off as it pulls through. Then put the cap on or as it heats up it will spill. Ask me how i know...

Re: Guys does this sound ok?

Do I have to open this bleeder hole on the top to get any air out? Do I just turn it one turn or something and leave it open while running for a minute or two? The only thing I didn't do was pull the engine drain plugs. I drained the radiator and i'm replacing both hoses with stainless steel aftermarket ones. Putting in a new STOCK TSTAT also. I picked up ONE bottle of the g-05 from napa... I hope that is enough when i mix it 50/50?

Re: Guys does this sound ok?

Do you mean the bleeder in the pump? i didnt mess with it. I have a rad cap with the little vent lever, i just "burbed" the air when it was hot, a little at a time. mine took more then that, but i had the rad clean out and i flushed and fully drained it.
