Can't figure out this rattle

What's up guys? I am new to this site, and I have a 2006 WK w/ the 5.7. I recently (last week) changed out my rack because it went bad and yesterday put in some Bilsteins in all 4 corners. I also changed the sway bar bushings and end links which got rid of a clunk that I had. Now my question is, whenever I hit a bump/pot hole/speed strips, I hear a rattle sound coming from the wheels. It does not do it at all if I am on the brakes tho. I've had this noise before I did any of the other work which makes me think its not related. Any thoughts? Thanks

I would check your anti rattle clips on the calipers... not that I have seen them magically fall out or anything but with it going away with the brakes applied (which would jam the pad into the caliper preventing rattling) it would be where I first looked.

Re: Can't figure out this rattle

I just changed the anti rattle clips a few weeks ago thinking it was that. I bought the disc brake rebuild kit from Rock Auto as well and greased the slide pins. It started after I replaced the rotors and pads with OEM stuff. I read on another site that sometimes the pads don't fit properly and will rattle. I am debating on replacing them with Hawk pads just to try it out.

I was just wondering if you found the cause? I have the same issue, I have changed the front pads a while ago, however, I don't know if it started right after I did the work. I used NAPA pads.
Thanks for your reply/

Re: Can't figure out this rattle

My pads were the cause of the rattle, I could slide them up and down while everything was bolted up. So I went to the auto parts store and bought CRC Brake Quiet. Its and adhesive you spray on the back of the pad and becomes very tacky and so far no more rattles.
