Black finish coming off on the exhaust resonators & radiator

The mufflers would not bother me, nobody will ever see it, but the radiator is a different story. See what the dealer says, they'll probably throw some cheap paint on it.

my mufflers is even worse than that, most of it came off though didnt care much as far as i am concern its not a performance issue and no one will be looking down there

Stuff like this is pretty irritating...not sure why they would "coat" them in the first place...to do it right they should be ceramic coated and baked on for longevity, which will drive up costs, otherwise it is just like some rattle can job.

Coating them to withstand all conditions within the world is a no win proposition with the corrosion and heat cycles they are exposed to - there is almost no product out there to handle this over a long period of time(cost effective to apply). If you really want it to last it should be a high quality stainless left untouched - which will drive up prices as well...

In other words they should have left them alone and let them weather and patina on their own.

Interesting with what the dealer will do on this...send out the parts guy for some "high heat" "high temp" BBQ grill paint to spray on there and send you packing only to last through the first rain storm...

I guess is if Chryco gets enough complaints they will do something...

The options are pretty limited with stuff like this...

please keep us up to date as i am going to my dealer asking for the same thing and i will let you know what would they come up with :)

mine is far worse
