I6 k&n intake

So right now I have a k&n drop in filter, but I've been wanting the full intake. Does anyone have an I6 with the plastic k&n intake? I heard the metal one produces too much and it seems everyone raves about the plastic one being better. Pics would be nice. Does it come with the hose to the valve cover from the intake? Also mounting bolts? Thanks

Also should get one of those "condom prefilters"? Lol. Do they actually keep the filter cleaner?

YES! You don't want your intake getting herpes.

Here's a Summit part# for you buddy...KNN-RF-1045DK

I used to run that 4.0L K&N intake on my TJ and on my XJ. The prefilter helps A LOT. Cheap insurance too....

I'm on the fence about ordering the intake... I know my gas mileage is going to suffer because that sound is amazing! I have a week to think it over

I don't know bro you're probably gonna gain a little mpg if you keep your foot out of it. but actually only gonna gain a few more hp over the panel filter.

Toss on an air breather filter too, they don't help hp but they're supposed to be good for the engine
