noise when turning right or lft

I'm experiencing a problem on my GC 2005 3.0L CRD limited:mad:
I had my front and rear axles ( with ELSD) serviced from dealership last week and I haven't driven it so much since .
The problem is the following , when I turn right or left in a rounabout for example I can hear a sound like metal on metal (or like I'm towing a chain)..
I can only hear the sound form the outside .
The problem occurs only driving forward and I haven't heard the sound in low speed range ..

Could it be missing limited slip additive , or should transfer case fluid to be changed?

Has someone experienced the same problem?

Take it back to the dealer and ask wtf is up.

Maybe they drained your fluid and forgot to put it back in! haha

Re: noise when turning right or lft
Sounds like they didn't put in the limited slip additive. I had a similar problem when Ford didn't put in limitied slip in my rear axle after a change a long time ago. That was the last straw for me and I have never taken any of vehicles back to a dealership or service station since. You pay good money to have your vehicle worked on and they mess it up. How hard is it to put in the correct fluids. Well enough of my tangent.

Thanks for the help
Yeah the guy was busy .... how did you know :p
I hope not too busy to forget oil ..but never knows..
I think I waited too long now i get noise also driving on straight roads and when turning left ( steering wheel quite fully turned )

I hope it's not too late for my front axle and diff:mad:

Re: noise when turning right or lft
Hi all
I get it fixed by dealership...
Nothing to do with the diff, the problem was due to the front brakes .
They took away the caliper and discovered a problem between the disk and the pads
They reworked the pads and rebuild them :)
Now it's ok, no sound anymore
