Bumper guards

Does anybody have bull guards/bumper guards on their WK2? I am strongly considering getting some, being that I live in NYC.

I personally don't have any but here are two pictures of a Limited I saw at the dealership one time if you were wanting to see how it looks.

Looks decent. I just washed my new jeep and already saw a nice scratch in the rear bumper. And was thinking its time to get a brush guard or something.

I picked up a hitch step for this. Let people bang into that instead of my bumper!

$135 shipped to my door and took no more than 30 minutes to install. Looks great and should provide some solid protection. I was also contemplating tow hooks, so this eliminated the need to buy those

How about a tow hitch at the back? It keeps assholes at a safer distance :D

Good ole knee wrecker. Like the LaRue signature, the sign of a good man

Re: Bumper guards

I always keep my hitch in. I've been rear ended in my wrangler and had a hitch that was seriously almost a foot long to clear my spare tire, well lets just say that poor guy that hit me had a 2 inch ball through his radiator and fan. No damage to the jeep.

Now that was a knee wrecker!

Re: Bumper guards

If you get a rear metal bumper guard it will interfere with the parking radar sensors....

Same for the front Adaptive cruise controls and sensors.

I have all. i will be putting a rear bumper guard as well as a front soon. Already got blessed on my rear bumper by a careless parker...
