Cat-backs

I am getting ready to do a cat-back on my Hemi Jeep. I just want it a little louder than stock, I only want to do it once so Stainless is the only option for material, I also do not want to lose torque, systems with a 2.5" outlet have me curious as it is possible they would BOOST torque over the stock 3" pipes. It is common in the racing world to use smaller headers, longer pipes and smaller pipes to boost torque. Anybody have any real world comparisions??

Also I am racer from way back, Borla and Flowmaster are names I recognize that scream quality to me, I am very interested in Gibson's exhaust for my Jeep, how is Gibson's finished product?? everything fits?? quality welds?? Gibson is a new name to me and I am worried about the end product quality.

Re: Cat-backs

Gibson is a great exhaust! Check them out in the Exhaust Thread. I have a Magnaflow Cat-Back. It sounds great and is perfect for me, but it's 2.5" piping.
