HID headlights ?

I have a 2005 WK and im looking to buy an HID kit. As far as i know for my year Jeep i need a relay to go along with it? None of the kits that im seeing seem to come with a relay. Where is the best place to get a relay? and do i need anything else for the installation?
Thanks guys!

Re: HID headlights ?

dont put hids in a halogen housing, very inconsiderate to other drivers

Matt!! When did we care about other drivers? We know they dont care bout us :p If you want to go forward with HIDs, check out XenonDepot: they're kits come with everything, relays and all - dont go cheap - that's my advice.

TylerShark - Your vehicle requires a relay harness for the low beams. You will need a 9006 HID kit for the low beams and an H10 for the fogs. We are a vendor on the Jeep Garage forum and offer a discount to forum members. Use coupon code JG upon checkout the receive $25 off and get a free relay harness.

Here is a pic of a Grand Cherokee with a XenonDepot Xtreme HID kit in the low beams and fogs.

I love my HIDS in my halogen housings. As long as you aim them down you will be fine and not blind anyone. Ive tested mine by having someone drive my jeep and me driving another car infront and in the opposite dirrection.

I loved mine when they were working!! I've got to get a relay because I was getting some weird electrical issues, and they would flicker for 15 minutes after I shut them down.

Re: HID headlights ?

dont lie...to all with HIDs in their halogen, we ALL been flashed at one point or another. There's just no way to aim these so it wont both be a bother imo. Plus it's even worse for all you lifted offroad peeps lol.
