Sorry bro the snip is just for the 4.7s with the 545 trans. As for the quote I just had to "immortalize" it because I think he was drinking heavily when he came out with that:lol:

i havent heard of it before, so i thought it didnt pertain to me lol what exactly does it do? im assuming something with torque lol

i thought he might not have been feeling well when he said that! lol

The snip works great! I did it a few weeks ago and it makes a huge difference when you're burying the gas pedal.

As for the quote, our good buddy Cheap took it out of context. I was referring to this when I said that:

I can agree, on ambulances they are acceptable. not really NEEDED per say, you could use a different color, but im sure they have their reasons.

The snip eliminates timing retard during shifts. This is found also in the 4.0s, but can only be done via PCM tuning.
