20 inch wheel ?s
I have found a great deal on a set of aftermarket wheels and tires....used but they are off a wk2.

The wheels are 20x8.5, 5x127 bolt pattern, with a 32 offset
The tires are 265/50/20. I am wondering if these will fit without modification?

I do also plan on using some srt8 springs in the future.

Please help, I am looking at picking these up tomorrow after work if they fit

Re: 20 inch wheel ?s
thanks scott, what about lowering it still? or is this not needed?

Re: 20 inch wheel ?s
lowering will make it look better IMO, reduces the gap in the wheelwell

Re: 20 inch wheel ?s
im just worried since the tires are just a tad taller, will lowering it be possible without rubbing?

Re: 20 inch wheel ?s
nevermind, my wife put an end to my modding. I will just drive a 100% normal looking jeep around. My life is boring

Re: 20 inch wheel ?s
we met in high school when I had a 1996 cavalier lowered on good ole motegi mr7s. She loved that car. Ever since I really havent put money into anything just because I was afraid to lose it. She has since bugged me about doing wheels and tires on stuff and maybe lowering my other vehicles Ive had since then. Well, after this site, I have always wanted to do this stuff to the jeep. But, I guess I cant now. Im kinda bummed

Re: 20 inch wheel ?s
i have done a ton of mods to my jeep and i have only spent around $2k on it total since i bought it a few years ago. you can do alot for very little money if you buy used parts.

Re: 20 inch wheel ?s
Got them. Too good of a deal to pass up. Need to get the sensors installed before they are put on. These came with centric rings on the hub part. One was broke, are these necessary? Still debating on lowering or not. Wheels sit about flush with the fenders, so not sure if it will fit.

Well I have pics, but finding a host sounds like a pain right now

Re: 20 inch wheel ?s
the offset is a tad too aggresive to lower it. Im sure it would work sitting in a parking lot, but with 4 people in the car, and a speed bump it would hit the fender....Oh well $800 dollars for wheels and tires with 8000 miles on them makes it worth it
