Got it

Picked up my 06 Grand Cherokee CRD today and its like returning to an old friend

Perfect road manners, quiet and completly free of any rattles or squeeks

Very slow run home (for the UK lister's, 2 hours queue on the M25!) and trip computor shows 29.4mpg = 35.3 UK gall MPG!!!!!

Noticed it seemed to be missing the memory seats, were these an option?

Re: Got it

Picks will follow soon

Realy pleased so far

Performance chip will be in at the weekend

262BHP and over 500ft/lbs of torque:thumbsup:

Now I will tick the box for instant email, instead of the "no email" position!!

PS 28.8 (US mpg) = 34.71 (UK mpg) - thats bloody good as I do 250 miles a day on average

Chip will lift that by 10%

US gallons are smaller than UK gallons, therefore if your trip computor shows 25mpg it is actually just over 30 (UK) mpg

Use this converter to be accurate http://www.tdiclub.com/misc/conversions.html

All of the driving I do is distance on dual roads or motorways so what I average will always be better than the normal

I do at least 200 miles most days and keep to between 70 and 80 mph and use the acceleration sparingly(A12 and M25 it would be difficult to go any faster if I wanted!)

I fitted the performance chip back in today and expect the mpg to improve by around 10% (it did last time)

As I do so mant miles, I do become fixated by the MPG thing, but as it makes a huge difference to my wallet..........
