Very Hard downshift going uphill! Anyone help?

Hello fellows! This evening got Very concerned on my wk2 going uphill the jeep downshifted and the best i can describe is like if the downshift was delayed and then it found the gear and it engaged in a very hard way after i pushed the accel pedal... I think i can say i heard the rpms go up but the jeep actually stopped accelerating until it hard-shifted??!!!

I tried to replicate with no luck...

Ant ideas? Suggestions?:(

Hi there, I'd like to know what speed you were going at up the hill, and if you remeber, what change in speed were you doing, example being if you were going 45 at the start of the hill and went down to 35, and if you were using speed control?
