Scuff Mark on Rim
So I hit a curb and scuffed my rim. (long story) There is a local shop that can take the rim and fix it. He said it would take a day and that I would either need to leave the vehicle or take the tire off and replace it with the spare. My question is I have 20's on Jeep and my spare is an 18. I will need to do about 40+ miles on the tire. Is this a bad idea to drive on 3x20's and 1x18??? Could I cause damage by driving it? What about the QL?

Re: Scuff Mark on Rim
Factory spare? If so, the O.S. tire diameter should be the same and you can drive as long as you want with it.

There are also mobile wheel repair companies that will come out and do a repair on site in an hour or so. The guy I use has a franchise from:

Thanks for the link, they did a great job on your wheel. I actually decided to go with awrs as they do have it locally here and it was cheaper along with only taking an hour to get it done instead of a few days. On top of all that they will even come out to your work place and repair it on the spot. Can't beat any of that! I'll have the repair done tomorrow.
