Aftermarket trailer hitch

Ive tried a search and couldnt find the answer i was looking for. I have been looking for a while on craigslist and ebay for a stock trailer hitch for my wj to pull my jet skis but had no luck. I know there are plenty of aftermarket ones available but im looking for more a factory look. ANybody know any company who makes a reproduction or copy of the factory setup? Anybody have pictures of a a/m hitch on there wj? so i can see how it would look

Thanks

Is it a cost thing? I got a stock one from Just For Jeeps (one of our vendors). It's a very well-made unit. I was shopping around like you for aftermarket (curt, etc.), but nothing beats the factory one in my opinion. It's tucked up into the bumper and looks clean. It was not cheap at about $400 (that was for the hitch itself, the Mopar wiring harness, and the trim bezel) but it looks the way it should and it's solid. All three parts are available seperately if you already have a wiring rig set up. It does require removal of the rear bumper cover, which you have to cut. If you decide to do this, take a look at the condition of the bumper step pad. IF it's baked, or looks like crap, now is the time to address it. You need to access it from under the bumper cover. Here's how mine came out:

The look of the factory/Mopar unit is much better than the aftermarket unit that hangs low. I would expect to find a used unit at a local pick-n-pull for a reasonable price due to the number of WJ's produced and their current age. I plan to buy a used one along with the necessary pieces to do a factory-looking install and do the work myself.

It is currently much cheaper from JustforJeeps than in the past but is on backorder.
