Does any model have a dark headliner from the factory?

Just curious, wasn't even sure if the new SRT8's did. Leave it to Chrysler to almost do something perfectly. Is there a reason other than cost as to why the didn't offer the options.Seems like even the Altitude edition has the wonderful light headliner.

All Grand Cherokees (Altitude: https://www.woodhouse.com/morePhotos.htm?Stock=D122649, and SRT8 included) have a light headliner. I don't know the reason. Cost and/or looks probably.

Maybe it's done to give a sense of space. Lighter colored headliner gives the impression of more room where a dark headliner will feel like the top is closer than it is. Just like interior design. Darker colored rooms feel smaller vs. a lighter colored room.

Wondered this myself too... only other possible reasoning I can come up with is heat purposes

Agreed. All blacked out interior would feel small.

Black Plasti-dip your liner OP and report back.

It also brightens the interior up a bit.

I had an Explorer a few weeks back for a rental and it had an all black roof inside. It was strange, it made the whole car feel smaller and gloomier.
