Has anyone tried the Dodge Challenger programing on WK2?
When we were shopping for our new Jeep, I saw a Dodge Challenger on the showroom floor of the dealership. It shared the same Penastar V6 the Grand Cherokee and the Wrangler use. I noticed the horsepower rating on the Challenger was 305hp while our Jeeps are rated at 290 horsepower. I wondered why the programing for the Challenger couldn't be loaded into the ECM of the Jeep? Everyone would love an easy 15hp gain.
I suspect our Jeeps are tailored more for torque than horsepower due to vehicle weight. I didn't see the torque numbers for the Challenger but, I suspect it is somewhat less than the Jeep?
Has anyone thought of, or tried the programing from a higher rated horsepower version of the Penastar in a Jeep?

Its not in just the tuning, and even if it worked, PCMs are not cheap.
