Keyless push button start?
 
just found this new push button start kit online and says it works with jeeps. wondering if anyone has tried one or ever looked into this company.

I've installed several kits from www.advancedkeys.com

Very nice quality, take a look into them.

If you go to the www.advancedkeys.com site you can find a PDF of the instructions to get an idea of how the install is done.

I like the idea of the turn key one, I dont know if it coulld be made to work with the 2008 Mercedes key mine has

I dont, i've installed them on alot a chevy tahoe and quite a few honda civics (go figure)

I would think trying to install a push button on ours would be like opening a can of worms considering how tied in the ignition is to the truck.

Agreed, with the WKs being as sensitive as they are, i personally wouldn't mess with it. Remote starter no problem, push button start though not something i'd mess with.

Mopar has a start push button that I heard the SRT guys have used.I priced it out and was only around $18.00.You program it like a 3rd key fob to make it work.I can't find the part number I had wrote down for it thuogh.

dont think so. the button might fit in the dash but thats it.some have tried and failed. (wk1)
