First Jeep

Brand new over here, I have a '09 Dodge Ram, so I am usually over on DodgeTalk. My truck is an all-wheel drive, twin turbo project that makes over 500HP at the wheels. I decided to build my wife a new truck, so that she has something fun also. Ordered her a loaded Grand Cherokee Overland, black on black. We took delivery last Tuesday, I started tearing it down and painting it on Wednesday, and had it done Thursday night. I rolled it in the shop with 22 miles and a lot of chrome, and here is how it looks now. Blacked out the upper and lower grille, the piece between the tail lights, the door handles, the mirrors, and the luggage rack. I lowered it 1.3 inches up front and 1.8 in the rear. I went with black SRTs, staggered with 265/50/20 up front and 295/45/20 in the back.

I will post some pics as soon as I hit my post requirement.

Thanks, I also chopped off the trailer hitch, replaced the lower rear bumper cover and debadged it. No rubbing, the 20x10s fit great in the back. Now just waiting for tuning so I can build her a turbo setup.

I was wondering about that because I noticed no trailer hitch so I just assumed yours didnt come with one.

Can you give me an idea how tough of a job that was? I assume you just remove the rear bumper, unbolt the hitch and slide it out, then replace with the new rear lower valance? I like the look sooo much more without the trailer hitch so I have been considering this mod as well.
