Not sure if there's a TSB for that or not, but maybe need a PCM flash?
Sounds as simple as a starter to me... possibly a a corroded terminal on the starter solenoid (not at your battery if I understood you right that your interior lights dont dim). Ultimately your description was almost textbook starter.
Also, no trying to start anything here because I do respect your opinion, but more times than not the people on here with 20 new parts on there jeep and its still failing have there"trusted mechanic" doing the work, for stupid stuff too, seems many inependant shops think the repair for misfires is a tune up followed by coils followed by injectors then sensors starting with the letter A... before they finally deturmine the fault to be mechanical. Of course no ones experience is 100% at any shop (unless your insanely lucky) ultimately cars now a days have a lot to them, and ultimately with how much stuff is packed into tight areas you cannot properly test circuits without moving them around to simply get your meter on the circuit (which defeats the purpose). It is not an easy industry to bat 1000 indy or dealer PERIOD...
