Door indents?

Not sure how to describe it accurately, its when you open the door there's 2-3 indents to keep your door opened at certain angles.

Anyways, does anyone think it's weak? Very slight incline 5 degrees or so it doesn't like to hold open and my door closes.

I constantly have them not opening far enough or opening too far. Or coming back at me when I think they should stay put...

Wife said one of this days she will fall out trying to reach for the front passenger door.

'Detent' would be a better word to describe the door opening positions.

And none of these positions hold the front doors when & where I want them to. They are weak & need improvement.

I especially love the driver door fully open position where even an 8' octopus cannot reach it!

I guess they are weak to begin with and the doors weight a ton is also a factor.

I think this is about the worst design flaw in the WK2. Yes, the door is heavy but I feel the stop positions could have been stronger.
Otherwise, I really can't complain about anything else. Still think this is a great Jeep!
