Amp problem

Ok,so i hooked up my amp and sub to my stock stereo. After i got everything hooked up and running I went to adjust my stereo. I turned the volume down and noticed that the volume of the sub didnt change with the volume of the stereo, unless I turned the stereo down to zero thenthe sub would shut off. I used a LOC to hook it up,I wonder if I connected the wrong wires maybe? Even if I mess with the bass setting on the stereo it dosent change on the sub. Im pretty stumped at this point. Please help me out guys!

Sounds like you didn't tap the correct (speaker level) output wires. I tapped into my rear speaker leads because i wanted a full range signal feeding my LOC (personal preference).

See the chart below for the front and rear speaker level outputs on your stock amp:

Hmmm...I was wondering the same thing, but those are the wires I connected the LOC to. Im not sure if there are two sets of those wires or something. Or maybe im just color blind lol. Ill have to open her up this weekend and take acloser look.

yea those wire colors back there are very tough to tell apart... use a flash light and get real close to double check the colors your tapped into are correct.

Re: Amp problem

it sounds like you tapped into the input, not the output. or your LOC is broken.
