JEEP Bonnet Badge Removal

Any ideas on the best way to remove the bonnet badge? I really hate doing this but we're getting our Jeep wrapped in company colours and the badge has to go (and kept in safe keeping). Hopefully with the wrap this will assist the Jeep in paying for itself! :p

It's held on with what seems to be double sided tape. I'd try the hot air gun option but paranoid I'd damage the paint. Any clues anyone?

Ice them down and use a card to pop them off.

Hair dryer, and then use taught fishing line. Clean the excess of with De-solvit (Orange based solvent from Bunnings- gets rid of sealant and is water based).

Yep safest and best way.
Just be careful not to over heat the badge or it will bubble the paint under it.

Some use dental floss (any flavour). Ease it behind the badge then saw it through the double sided tape.

Thanks for the posts guys, happy to say I now may not need to remove it, the wrap designer will work around it!

Post a photo of your wrapped jeep when it's done.
