Better "Performance" removing the air intake resinator or not?

I have the K&N CAI on my WK 3.7, where the tube connects to the stock resinator. Is it beneficial to delete the resinator altogether and add a tube going directly into the intake? I would think if K&N felt it would be they would sell a tube that does delete the resinator as on other kits they sell. Im in a rush since im moving and packing away and storing alot of my tools, so if its a yes I want to do the mod asap.

I think it adds more noise and if you do gain any H.P., it'll be in a ridiculous RPM range that you will never see on a normal daily driving routine.

Then again Irfan will come in here and say it adds 75 horsepower. :D

Just my opinion.

well timmy if you take it out and your butt dyno tells you it feels faster, or sounds cooler than the mod did its job:)

you could be like joe and not do anything to your truck yourself and have everyone else do everything and claim to know everything and not know jack:)

Thats a good point, if it infact would free up more HP it probably would not be noticable and would be at high rpm's. And I dont mind the look of the resinator box thing, except how it has 3.7 on it, maybe I can shave that off and paint a 6.1 on it instead. Lol.
