Routing cables into the cabin
Got a couple of sensors I want to hook up to gauges inside the car, just wondering if there are any blank plugs/bungs or existing wiring I can run the new wires through?

Firewall ideally or the front footwells.

TIA as always.

Re: Routing cables into the cabin
Well since you have that backward ass Jeep I don't know for sure:lol: On a left hand drive there are 2 grommets above the brake pedal. One is for the hood release cable which was a no go. The other one is for the rear washer line and is what I used. Hopefully yours is the same on the other side.

Hmm, that could well be the perfect location! I thought about using that huge round rubber boot on your second pic but would rather find something else.

So did you drill the hole for those cables and rubber grommet yourself yeah? My connector is pretty big but will easily make it through the opening on the other side.

Nope buddy it was already there. The rear window washer line runs through that grommet but you can squeeze a few extra wires through there also.

Sounds like I'm gonna need to get the drill out then! Probably just prime the edges of the hole to prevent it rusting, find a grommet to fit and then inject some silicone in there.

Thanks Dave.

Re: Routing cables into the cabin
i have left hand drive, in the US. i ran a 4 gauge wire through the grommet for the main electrical harness. i cut an X in the rubber, and ran the wire through. pretty simple :)

oh, its on the firewall closer to the door jamb i believe
