Tinting tails help

I went out and bought rust oleum lens tint yesterday and decided to tint my third brakelight. I went sanded then did 2 coats of tint then 4 of clear. Then used rubbing compound and wax on it. Came out good but doesn't really have a Shine. Anyone have some tips to get it to have a nice gloss shiny finish

A few pics r in my album here :

after you wax it put some polish on it and buff it fast.

but it does blend well with the black.

Did you wet sand it with 2000 AFTER clear coat? You have to wet sand it after clear coat to make it dull, and then polish it.

Sometimes you can use gasoline or a paint thinner to remove it and start over.. Nail polsih remover also works.

You need 2 coats of black, 4 coats of clear... Let it sit overnight.. Wet sand with 2000 grit until its flat and smooth all across.. Put rubbing compound / polish on and it will be like glass..

definitely should sand after clear, then compound and then wax. 2000 grit, wet sand, and I actually add soap to mine when I wet sand. here's a photo of all mine :
