Colors that show the least amount if swirls/holograms etc?

Always owned black cars and as some of you know it's a part-time job making sure how you wash it etc. plus detailing with my Random Orbital to get out all the minor swirls twice a year.

Anyways, I am digging my Mineral Grey, can't even see swirls etc under a halogen light like my black cars :D I still use my zaino routine on it.

Got stone white for the clean look all the time and lack of swirls.. Saw a min gray the other day.. Kinda wish I went with that... But I still love my white

My stone white always looks like it was just waxed. It sits outside all the time under trees and still looks great My wife's black car is a nightmare, last black car I will own. I don't have the time with work kids and hobbies to do a 30 step paint treatment with ten buckets and wax made from rare animal hides like some. Little soap and water and wax maybe every 4 months.

The best colors for hiding swirls are light to medium silvers, grey, gold, metallic whites (a flat white actually shows swirls pretty bad in my experience), light metallic colors like blues and greens, etc.

Like Mineral grey a lot. After a year of having Charcoal pearlcoat I am impressed with how good it still looks. Hand wash only. Moot point, they don't make it anymore. Two silver cars, no problem. Medium blue, no problem. Dark blue, big problem, just like black. Always polishing the dark blue. My white Chrysler showed swirls up close but not as noticeable as dark blue or black from a distance.

For the people who have the Stone White - is it more of a "pure" white color or does it have sort of a cream color tint to it?

My gold does a good job of hiding dirt.

My jeep is mineral gray and I love it; and it doesn't show as much dirt as my charcoal gray tahoe did. Since I live down a dirt road it's quite nice.

Stone white is "creamy" and I think has been deep sixed just like my White Gold- which received a complement today at Home Depot despite being dirty (but you can hardly tell). I believe the new white is a pure white. I think I'll like it better than the Stone White. We'll see.

I'm digging my Maximum Steel WK2. It's pretty dusty right now, but you can't tell - still pretty much looks like the day I bought it.

One thing I noticed when shopping was in certain sunlight and at certain angles, all other colors (except Maximum Steel and maybe Silver) would be negatively impacted by dust (meaning the color would have a brown tinge to it).

I like the stone white over a more "pure" white like they put on police cars and work trucks. The stone white looks classy. No a big fan of white cars but I love the stone white.

My neighbor has a 2012 Mineral Grey Summit. Best looking WK2 IMHO.
