Summitville Trail...Pics!

Decided to do an easy trail, with the exception of one area I ventured into, this trail could? be done in some cars or a stock SUV/truck.

This is a refinery that is cleaning the water contaminated by decades of mining in the area...so THEY say.

Went off the beaten path, and took a rough road to a higher elevation...12,665 ft. according to the GPS.

HOO-WEE!!! Check out this antique, an analog gas pump and it still works!

Now for you young'uns, if you are wondering what that weird looking phone-like device that is disturbingly non-mobile is...well it is what people back in the ol'timey days used when we were out and about and had to make a phone call. We would have to make ourselves vunerable to muggers and other assorted weirdos by leaving the relative safety of our vehicles to use them, and NO there is no Facebook app or any other internet connectivity. IT ONLY MADE PHONE CALLS BwAh HaH hAh HaH!!!!!!!!!

Nice pics! That payphone and gas pump are probably older then me

It's nice to see that you still have snow since the Rockies got hammered this winter.

Very nice pics! I will get up there one of these day. I will actually be driving out to Loveland next month, but will be taking the car and not the Jeep :(

When did you swap out your headlamps? Is that a dual projector retrofit in '05-07 OEM housings? They look killer!
