Shift Schedule

Just curious if anyone has figured out the best settings for the shift schedule with the superchips advanced tuning for the 4.7. I've had the upgrade for over a year now and still haven't figured it out!

Re: Shift Schedule

I had some beta schedules from Superchips that were in graph format. This allowed me to figure out (based on my preferences) how to set up the shift schedules for my Hemi with MDS. I graphed them first like the SC ones. I got it almost perfect (for me) on the first try. I could do a little tweaking on torque management and a couple of the downshifts at some point, but the upshifts are exactly the way I want them. One key is, if you graph them, don't overlap the upshifts and downshifts for the same gear.

I am going to remove the SC tune soon, and start tinkering with the Diablosport shift schedules. Unfortunately they don't give you full control like the SC does, but I aim to see how good I can make it. They only give some control over 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, as I recall. When I remove the SC, I am also going to take all the shift schedules back to stock and then write them all down so I can graph them too. This will help me determine how to make adjustments in the future.

You can begin by trying these settings posted by BlackPepper, even when made for a 5.7L they could help:
