New Guy w/ Lift Questions
I have an '05 WK Laredo and plan on doing a lift. I just want to run my list/questions through you guys to make sure I'm on the right track. Here's what I'm planning:

265/70/17 Goodyear AT/S (already have these)
RC 2" BB
RC 1.5" Spacers

Will I need to do the pinch weld mod?
Will I need an alignment when it's done?
Anything I'm missing?

Any help/insight is appreciated!

I just did the same mods on my 08..
YES and YES.
you will need to get an alignment after everything is put on and the pinch weld mod is highly recommended.. I now run 265/70/17 Coopers with a 2" daystar lift and 1.5" spidertrax spacers and the pinch weld is def. good to do.. I wouldnt want to mess with the tires at all.. for me, they slightly rubbed only at full lock on normal road, causing me to baby my turns and take em wider which is no fun.. and it was also too close for comfort. Off road is a must for the pinch weld mod..they knocked against the wheel well liner pretty good when suspension was compressed and my wheel slightly turned.. definitely do the mod or have it done by someone..its really not a difficult one and its better safe than sorry. Do it all right the first time around and you'll be happy with your decision..

After that, you'll be all good.. I currently only have these mods you plan on installing and eventually I'll look to get some Bilstein shocks and struts to stiffen a bit and increase my ride comfortability.(not that the factory parts have been uncomfortable)... you might wanna look to do this down the line at some point too . It seems to be a popular/wise addition to WKs with lifts.

Have fun with your lift! :)
