Headlights

Are the Spyder LED Headlights any good. The halo projector lights that have the 3 "eye ball" looking thing on top? Are they bright enough for dark nights? I want to order them but I dont know if they will be bright enough or if they are a good product. Does anyone have these lights?

Anyone feel free to help! Thanks

Re: Headlights

i cant answer youre question but ive read people say they suck. on another note i know you didnt ask for anyones opinion but i gotta say those are the most god awful looking lights i have ever seen with the led "eyebrow" and beg you to please dont. keep looking i know there are aftermarket projector lights that dont have that brow, but some have complained about the output on them aswell. so maybe just go the hid route?

Thanks for your opinion, because I wasn't sure about them because I read they were pretty bad too. I dont like the look that much either I just saw them on an SRT8 once and they looked alright but other than that they dont look that great in my opinion also. I just wanted to get an aftermarket Headlight and I didn't know what other ones to get. So if anyone else has a good Headlight feel free to comment. And thanks for your help!

Re: Headlights

I had these headlights on my car for 2 months hated them. The halos are very dim. The indicator is on the top of the light which sucks. The beam quality is horrible. 100 dollars and they are yours lol

Thanks for the feedback.
Do you know of a good headlight or brand?
And do you have aftermarket headlights?
Thanks

Re: Headlights

I recently had the ebay regular halogen headlights with the black housing. They look really cool and perform pretty much like stock. If your looking to go HID projection stick with oem from 08+ wk or do a retrofit. I just got my hands on a pair of HID headlights will install soon.

Re: Headlights

I probaly sound stupid for this. But after all this time I'm still a little confused about the HID stuff. Is HID a type of projection the light has or does it make it brighter or what is the effect it has on the light? Thanks

Re: Headlights

have you noticed all the cars at nite with the blue or blueish lights that are friggin blinding you? those are hids they use a ballast like a flouresent light to "fire" the bulb do some googleing youll get a better answer

ok i should add those are AFTERMARKET hids not factory. factory are almost always in a projector housing

Re: Headlights

Factory HID lights like in bmw or audi do not blind. The beam is fantastic and must be legally, auto levelling...
If not, than yes, they are aftermarket and blinding..
