Rear Door Speakers (Volume?)
OK, I've been posting lately about the upgrade to my dash and front door speakers and what a difference they make. Louder, better sound quality etc..
So last night I'm driving and I found the sound very "cab forward".
So I switched my fade to the rear and I could barely hear my rear door speakers. No wonder I feel I'm missing good suround sound.
So....2 questions. http://www.jeepforum.com/ubb/confused.gif
Are my front speakers just out performing my rear door speakers or are they sucking the radio dry to feed the fronts?
I know the radio is 2 ohms and I replaced my dash and front doors with 4 ohm speakers.
So how do I get more volume from my rear door speakers. Just drop in a set of upgraded speakers like the front?
Or is it a 2ohms vs 4 ohms issue?
I need sound behind me, not just in front of me. Missing half my sound! http://www.jeepforum.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif
Re: Rear Door Speakers (Volume?)
the rear speakers unlike the front have a tweeter built in to the regular speaker which sits very low.
