Quick leather cleaning tip...
Just thought I'd share a quick tip with you guys when cleaning the leather seats in your Jeep.

Take a clean 100% cotton terry towel cloth or MF and run it under the hot water tap then ring it out,

Put it in the microwave for about 1 1/2 - 2 minutes on full power,

Put on a pair of gloves whilst waiting (the towel will be pretty hot),

Rub the towel over the seat slowly to allow the heat to pass through to the seat evenly,

Now with the seat damp and warm grab your leather cleaner and set to work as per usual...

The towel doesn't stay hot for too long so you will only get one seat done at a time.

This method provides a really deep clean of the seats as it opens the pours up on the leather.

I used this method on every leather seat I've cleaned and believe me it really does make the process quicker and gives a better result.

Some of you will no doubt know this tip, but I thought I'd post it up for those who don't.

Thanks MartyP

I laso have seen people on the red site (srt8) use magic erasers to really get the leather spotless.

Yes rob That works wonders on sneakers!!! I'll try that on the leather too...

magic eraser as the one you use when you wanna whipe pencil marks off ?

Re: Quick leather cleaning tip...
Whilst the magic erasers do work they can also cause a lot of damage to the lacquer on the leather. I personally wouldn't recommend it - unless you've ran out of options...

TBH, I'm not all that clued up on leather either, it just the place that I buy my leather products from strongly advise against using those products.

However, I would use a magic eraser if I had a stain on my seat which nothing else was making a dent on. I wouldn't clean every seat in the Jeep with one on a regular basis, I don't think that's what you meant anyway tho. :)
