Mopar Factory Rear Fog light KIT

Apparently Mopar has a OEM Rear Fog Kit.

http://www.justforjeeps.com/refoglikit.html it's cheaper barely than Tailight solutions.

And Look at the amount of work to install it ROFL

http://site.justforjeeps.com/guide/82212166.pdf 22 Pages of nightmares. looks like hours of work.:slapfight:

Taillight Solutions Instructions took me 20mins to install mine:thumbsup:

I think the OEM install is so that they are actually rear fogs, so up front you would have a switch to activate them (like lights) in times of low visibility or as an always-on "follow" function. The Taillight Solutions kit uses the actual Mopar housings, but they've modified them to simply connect to the rear tails and mimic the turn signal and brake illumination. I recently ordered the TS ones as I like that functionality much, much more, and actual rear fogs are useless 99.99% of the time unless you live in Fogton USA.

Exactly i mainly posted it to show that the Mopar solution is a NIGHTMARE, and that TS did a amazing job and made adding rear fogs a 20 minute job instead of 3hr!

Good, now get us high quality pics of the finished product. Looks like you have mineral grey which is what I have. Post up some pics in a new thread because I might want this kit too! ;-)

I'm not sure what you guys want to see, the TS site video pretty much covers it. Otherwise it appears just like it did before with reflectors. Let me know what you're looking for and I can try to accommodate.

By installing this "kit", what affect does it have on the TIPM (Total Intergrated Power Module) since the manufactures are making it hard for us to customize our vehicles? Does it also void the warrenty by adding this aftermarket product?

Re: Mopar Factory Rear Fog light KIT

I have had this kit for almost a year now. By far... the best mod I have ever done in a vehicle. It's plug and play. Comes with a harness that plugs in into your existing harness. Yes, it is over $400 but it includes, two custom harnesses, LED lights for both brake/turn and fogs (4), Mopar fog light lenses (2), and resistors (2, also plug and play) so you don't get the burnt bulb error.

A lot brighter than hallogen and it adds a huge safety feature because the fogs emulate what the turn/brake signals do.
