Tire Question

Ok, first off im new here, hello all. I know this question probably gets asked a million times but I couldnt really find the answer I was looking for. I bought a 2" BB for my 01 WJ. It has 17 inch rims, so If I were to get 265/70R-17 how much trimming if any would I have to do? Is it anything more then just shaving the front bumper a little bit? or is that just gonna stuff the wheel well and look stupid. it says its a 31.7" tire. Ive never really had metric size tires I always had 15" wheels and just got regular size tires. I.E 31" 33". Sorry if I sound stupid. its my first WJ I always had XJ's and a ZJ and YJ.

Also, How can I tell if I have upcountry suspension or not?

Re: Tire Question

I can't speak for a 2" lift but I have a 4" lift and I run 265/70/R17. It nearly rubs on the rear shocks and the bottom of the bumper and rocker panel at full lock. Its a wide and tall tire compared to stock.

I would stay around 245/65/R17 but others might have more experience.
