AC leaking into floor board
I have an 01 Grand Cherokee limited. When I turn on the air conditioning, condensate drips from under the glove compartment into the floor board. This happened yesterday evening. This morning when I went out to my jeep, the AC fan was running even though the engine wasn't running and the switch was off. After re charging the battery and getting the engine started, the fan still would not turn off. I had to pull out the fan motor fuse to get it to turn off. I was thinking that the water dripping under the glove compartment could have shorted something out. I hadn't used the AC since last year, so the first thing that came to mind was that the drain hose for the AC might be clogged. I looked under the vehicle for a drain hose for the AC, but was unable to find anything. Can anybody offer some advice? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much.
Re: AC leaking into floor board
the drain is actually between the floor and convertor, there is a heat type shield its in between that , sounds like the resistor is failed for blower staying on
