Hunter Brush Guard and Running Boards Opinions

So I've pretty much decided that the Hunter Brush guard in stainless steel will be added to my WK in the future but it will cost me just under $300 shipped for that piece. In the meantime, I've always wanted a decent set of rails for the WK, just for ease of entry (esp. since my gf is short). I see that Hunter makes some rails that look pretty cool and might perform pretty well (based off of googling and seeing reviews of people using them on their Tundras).

Anyone have any experience with the rails made by Hunter? I figure for like $165 shipped and a 5yr warranty, the polished aluminum ones might match pretty nicely.

Let me know what you guys think.

Oh yea, for a pic of my Jeep in its current state, see this post: http://www.jeepgarage.org/showpost.p...11&postcount=7

Hunter is a solid Brush guard. That freight shipping will kill you. I considered a full brush guard until I factored in freight. Then I went with the Matrix which was 360 shipped and a solid piece of hardware. As far the rails I am not sure. If the vehicle is not lifted they sit pretty low to the ground and look a little off. I am a little taller so when my jeep was close to stock height I had trouble adjusting to the step rails. But the rails and brush guard I have had both (on other vehicles) and they are solid.

How'd you get the Matrix for such a cheap price!?

I just bought the base. Should be $329. The whole thing is like 700 bucks though. I just wanted something that would be a recovery point and a place to mount my lights. I later added the tube across the top. No special deals here though.

How much did you get it for shipped? I heard that if you call in, they chop off at least $10.

Nice! I'm going to see if I can get them to $289.99 for the shipped SS version to me here in MO. Crosses fingers. I'll have to order when I get back from overseas in a few weeks though.
