Cool 285 40 22 is what I have already. If I go 22x10 all around....I won't need tires

Another opinion...

Are those 22's forged? That is alot of rim, and if cast, I can't even imagine the weight gain in wheel and tire assembly for unsprung weight which is the worst kind - affects all aspects of performance.

Adding larger rims and tires are the same as adding ankle weights to yourself in a race...heavy. Not sure why you would take off high performance forged wheels...if they are forged 22's good on you.

The suspension, shocks and springs were designed and calibrated with a set weight for the wheel/tire assembly - from the factory. If you are more in the "yeah but I look good" category so be it, but weight is weight and it effects everything.

Not sure why the 5 star rim look is so popular...it makes the vehicle look big, bulky and heavy...it worked on the WK1 - not sure about the WK2.

The only really issue looks wise with the WK2 is it needs an inch of drop in the front and 2 in the rear...that will take care of fender gaps and you can retain your lightweight wheels.

Re: 2012 srt8 on 22"

FYI.....not sure about the 22" replicas vs. the new oem 20x10's on the wk2 SRT8...but the 20" replicas are 4 POUNDS LIGHTER than the 20" oem forged SRT wheels.....
If these weigh anymore than the oem 20's....I doubt its evry much more.
