bad plugs ?
ive been getting really bad mpgs, usually 10, but as of late around 8mpg. and my mother has been the primary driver as i mostly use another car, i know shes not beating on it. ive done oil, oil filter, air filter changes, cleaned maf. )unrelated, but just had to replace the battery, it died while running errands and would not hold a charge later, it was the oem battery)

car has 45k miles its a 2006 3.6L.

i snapped pics of the old plugs after i changed them out, what do you guys think do they look terrible? i have no exp in diagnosing plugs.

they are in order 1-6.

Re: bad plugs ?
The gaps seem to be a bit too big, but the colour looks ok. Wonder if the new plugs will do any good on the mpg.
If it doesn't change, it would have a look at the fuel pressure at the rail. How is the performance of the jeep, is there a lack of power?

Re: bad plugs ?
i have no idea at the fuel pressure, the car does seem a big sluggish, but ive been driving a mustang gt as my dd, so this definitely feels under powered.

the new plugs are e3 3.48

and the ones i replaced were NGK R 's

i suppose i could look into changing the fuel filter. its probably original.

Re: bad plugs ?
In the WJ the fuel filter also houses the fuel pressure regulator, i don't know how this is on the WK. If its the same, then its a good idea to change the filter/regulator.
