Getting new tires... white letters out or in?!?

Getting a set of silent armours installed in about an hour but can't decide about side walls... do I go all black or leave the white letters facing out?? Hrmm...

My michelins have the white letters on the outside with 18" polished rims.

I like it.

It's in the eye of the beholder/owner...

You like the white letter look?... Then go right ahead with it!

Just remember you have more to clean & detail with each white letter now!

Because if you're going to make that bold tire statement, you've got to have them looking sharp!!

However, FWIW I personally feel that a WK2 looks better with plain blackwalls & some good tire dressing.. especially on the 20's.

Westley's Bleche-White and a stiff-bristled brush make easy work of raised and outlined white letter tires. But with that being said, I'd still keep the letters turned in.

My Michelins are white out and no problem to keep white via regular washes and occassional Black Magic tire wet foam which I read about here. Bleche-White is too harsh for anything other than steel wheels.

I've actually found the opposite: that it can stain regular steel wheels. I never had a problem with it on clear-coated aluminum wheels, tires, whitewalls, black underbody cladding, etc.

That's good. Thanks. But I don't need anything that strong anyway.
