87 vs 89 octane

Just curious as to what you guys are putting in your GCs. My previous ride was a 04 g35, so i always put premium in it. Thats what it required. I know have a 2012 GC; The manual says 87 octane "acceptable". As i would love to fill up on 87 when hitting the pump, i'm curious as to if its better to go with 89 or 91+. What are your thoughts on this?

Only the V8 has an 89 octane recommendation with 87 being acceptable.

The V6 can run on anything, 87 will be just fine.
