Frustrated

This is my frist jeep I made the purchase base on reviews. I have owned many makes in the past. This is the first new vehicle that I have had one problem after the next.
I,m less than 6 months and 3,000 miles owner and had to take it in for defective shocks. And now I see that the wheel weights have fallen off the left front.
Most recently I seen a story in USA today stating the 2012 could have a power steering leak which could cause an engine fire!
For a vehicle that has been through harsh use before production seem to have more than the average car problems.

Some people have had problems, while others (like me) are problem free. Quality control issue? Likely. Unfortunately Chrysler is known for QA issues.

that sucks, i know it's a PITA and hopefully your dealer can help, where in Ohio are you? - maybe it was built on a Friday when the UAW started drinking or smoking weed early? ;)

I agree: although I haven,t had any major problems the little ones requiring time out of a busy schedule to have corrected is a pita!

When Fiat took over they required the test vehicles to be put through all kinds of driving conditions to fix any problems before production. My last vehicle a Chevy Tahoe I owned 9 years and aside from oil changes had to only replace the tires and battery. Guessed I had the same expectation from the wk2.
