Saddle Interior owners

So I have some issues with my saddle dashboard being undersprayed and splotchy as if an air gun was spraying but not anywhere near evenly.

On the Jeep website the photos indicate that the design of the saddle interior is not suppose to be even and rather a worn leather jacket look. ( If so very poorly executed on my dash and various surrounding saddle interior pieces.

How did/does your interior look?
Is it patchy or splotchy or is it an even color throughout?

The pics on the website are much darker and vibrant than my dry looking dashboard ( no conditionong or cleaning yet )

She looks vibrant here..

Splotchy look. darker than my dashboard and not quite the same splotchyness - this below splotchy looks better IMO than my dash and I havent noticed any splotchy-ness on my seats as indicated here below

Splotchy on the door leather below..

I've got a 2012 with 7100 miles on it and my interior looks like the stock Jeep press photography.

No blotches and I've never conditioned it.

Ok, the stock press photography above shows splotchy seats and a splotchy door panel. Yours looks like that with darker hues or all even?

It looks like these are pictures form the brochure. How about pictures from your vehicle?

In leather furniture, the "splochy" colors are a result of the dyeing process. Completely normal. Only in solid colors will this not be seen. The saddle interior is an attempt to emulate a "Top grain, analine-dyed" leather sofa....

Mine isn't splotchy or even uneven. However, the top of the dashboard on the passenger side where the seam is located there are some wrinkles. It's not smooth like it is on most of the other parts. I was going to bring it up at the dealer, but I don't really want them playing around with that area. I just figured it makes my truck unique in some ways.

What I hated was when I brought the Jeep to a car wash and they put the shiny Armour All on the leather. It was so bright that it reflected the sunlight into my eyes. I had to buy a water based leather cleaner to get the shine out of it.

Understood however, by your reasoning no 2 shoes should look the same either. :slapfight: I am not talking of splotches in the same locations of each vehicle rather the overall look. I like the more rustic dark splotches or patches look you can see in the pics above from the Jeep site.

This is dyed leather and I am referring to a specific condition where splotchiness is seen. I will post links to my dash pics from another thread.

I dont really notice any splotches on my 2012 Overland saddle. Everything seems evenly sprayed.

I think this picture shows the condition I am speaking of as best as possible besides seeing it live.

All of the first posts pictures are from the website. I am using them as a comparison between themselves. Some of the "splotchy" shots in the first thread I actually like as they are dar and dark splotches.

My condition seems to be light with lighter splotches.

I really see it has nothing more than the difference between two pieces of leather. Not gonn lie bro...I feel your grasping at nothing here

Re: Saddle Interior owners

LOL see what you will. And grasping? I am discussing a condition. If you cannot see the lighter and darker flow of the main piece I dont know what to say rofl.
