Sleep in the Jeep

I will be sleeping in the Jeep next weekend and was wondering if anyone had advice on a foam type cushion to lay down in the trunk with the rear seats folded down? Anybody sleep in their trunk yet?

Lol u could get a memory foam sized for a queen or full bed and lay it back there people say the full and queen bed will fit in the back so just pick one of those up

LOL. We actually gave it a try (sleeping in it) a few weeks ago on a trip to northern AZ. We just folded a heavy sleeping bag and slept on it. It probably would have been more comfortable if we folded two. We are not tall folks but I was surprised at how much room you get when the seats are folded down. I also had to search how to turn off the dome lights when the doors are open.

Tried this last weekend. I'm 6'2" (245lbs) and I fit just fine. Definitely recommend getting a pad. A camping pad that self-inflates (foam with air pockets) when you unroll it, or an air mattress (there is a 12v socket right there, after all). Either solution could possibly be stowed in the spare-tire area.

How about this? Inflatable air mattress for Jeep Cherokee. Cut to fit, with 12v pump.

EDIT: Re-tried link, works on various computers here...

I'm 6'-3" and slept on the back seat for a few hours on a 30 hour trip. Couldn't fold the seats down since I had luggage taking up all the cargo space. It wasn't too bad, just got hot and sticky from no circulating air.

I've slept in it a few times camping out at the lake. Just unroll a sleeping bag and then sleep on top of it with a blanket. Knock the A/C down to "Low" and "Auto" and disable horn on remote start (to be considerate of the neighbors) before turning it off the last time and then keep the keyfob handy so I can remote start it if I get stuffy. Haven't had any trouble sleeping and found it fairly comfortable.
