Water bladders for spare tire well pockets

Anyone found a plastic water bladder that can fit in the storage pockets by the spare tire? I was thinking those would be a great place for some water bladders to store water for long trips.

LOL. I was gonna say the same thing. Whats wrong with loading up a couple cases of bottled water? Much easier and you can hold them or keep them in the cup holders. Lets keep things simple here, no need to get fancy haha.

Unless you got a pump and ran a hose to dispense the water....like tapping a keg, just not as fun. :D:p

If your looking for something more flexible you could use a hydration bladder for hiking etc.

You can buy just the replacement bladder inserts at stores like REI etc which would be cheaper than buying the whole kit with backpack cover etc. I bet they would squeeze down into the bins nicely.

Water bottles and jugs take up a lot of space, I'm guessing he is trying to store a decent amount of water without limiting other cargo storage.

I see where you are going with this but my question is won't you have to unpack everything everytime you want to get in there, if you are on a trip that means you have stuff in your cargo area.

That's a good point there, I didn't think about that. I suppose if you were to have a tent or something in the back that was coming out once camp was set up.

Or a pressurized tank with a hose coming out.

Good idea to throw a couple bottles in there for emergencies though.

Most of us spend a lot of time in our cars... if a disaster were to hit there is a good chance we may be in our cars when it goes down. Water, first aid kit, flashlight, an old pair of sturdy shoes (better than the dress shoes you're probably wearing on your way to/from work), work gloves, maybe an MRE.... you see where I'm going.

Empty wine cask bladders, or full ones for happy hour.

The Nalgene 500 milliliter water bottle fits perfectly in the front cup holder. It fits snugly so it does not rattle nor fall over, and the height doesn't block the storage bin.
