Not my thing but that is your call. Got anyone that could photoshop it in gloss for you?

I was actually just thinking about plastidipping mine today. I was going to leave a gap in the middle between the ridges. They make a "glossifier" for the plastidip to make it glossy if that helps you visualize it.

Interesting idea, good to try with plastidip first. IMHO I would leave the hood all body color.

Not feelin' it either...but it might look pretty cool if you left the center ridge part done and remove the rest.

Yea, did not feel it at all. The body color is much better.
Dip the wheels.

I've always been a fan of ol'time NASCAR and their all black hoods.
Typically flat or stain black and they often included the official stock CID of the motor they were running.
http://www.hemmings.com/story_image/354921-1000-0.jpgI'd say just get the whole thing painted or even better yet, wrapped in vinyl....dip just doesn't cut it over that large an area.
