Re: Akebono?
You can get semi loaded (includes brackets) or fully loaded (includes brackets and pads) calipers from R1 concepts, they are a vendor here and offer a forum member discount. I will be ordering mine from them soon. I believe they are centric brand which I have liked in the past and there is no return core. You could get a set from any local auto parts place, but they would probably charge a core and they might not be happy if you return a different kind of caliper. Or there is a dealer option, it would be worth it to at least call one and see what they would charge for the akebono kit.

Re: Akebono?
Just for jeeps has them as well but they are pricey at $225 loaded (pair) and they also have a discount for forum members, R1's are $64.61 semi-loaded per & $86.86 loaded per.

Re: Akebono?
There is no rear conversion they were Teves throughout the WJ model years. Only the fronts can be converted from Teves to Akebono.

Re: Akebono?
Thanks everyone. Does anyone know the discount code for members on R1's site?

Re: Akebono?
There isn't a discount code for R1, just send a PM to R1concepts from the vendor page here with the part numbers you want and Steven will take care of you.
