EGR Valve Location & Removeal
I have a problem with my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3 Litre Diesel, the engine preformance is really poor and I believe it is something to do with the EGR Valve, which I am trying to remove to clean and check it is working properly but I can not fully remove it, the bulk head is in the way, I have only about an inch left to go before I get it out but without beating the bulk head to bits I can't see how to get it fully out....any ideas how to get it out and actually test it.
Many thanks :)
Re: EGR Valve Location & Removeal
Not really, the egr is extremely hard to remove without pulling the intake manifold. It can be done with the manifold in place, but you have to wiggle the shit out of it. Don't have much better advice than that. I have never done it with the manifold still in place.
